LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested an alleged member of a notorious drug group and recovered P340,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Vinzons town in Camarines Norte early Thursday.
Maj. Arkhemedes Garcia, Vinzons police chief, said John Louie Pabico, 28, was arrested in Barangay Calangcawan Sur at around 4:30 a.m.
Pabico was tagged as a high-value individual involved in illegal drug operations and a member of the Gutierrez drug group operating in the province.
Authorities recovered seven medium sachets of shabu from the suspect.
The suspect faces charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
