15 drug suspects nabbed in Bicol buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested 15 suspected mostly street-level drug personalities in separate buy-bust operations on Sunday, Nov. 13, in the Bicol region.

Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga police spokesperson, said they collared at 11:53 p.m. Ronald Alfonzo, 47, and his live-in partner, Myra Tarog, 32, in Barangay San Francisco.

Authorities recovered 10 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth about P68,000.

In Barangay Triangulo, Mark Kevin Relorcasa, 29, was held at 11:53 p.m. Bongon said they confiscated 2.325 grams of suspected shabu worth P15,000 from Relorcasa, who was on the illegal drugs watch list.

At Barangay Cararayan, Ramil Bolo, 33, a high-value drug personality, was nabbed at 2:40 p.m. for selling a sachet of shabu worth P500.

Two more sachets weighing two grams worth P13,600 of shabu were recovered from Bolo.

Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said they captured around 9:30 p.m. Jiero Romero, 29, at Barangay Gubat in Tigaon town.

Four sachets of shabu worth P6,698 were seized from Romero, a street-level drug peddler.

In Milaor town, Emilio Querobin, 29, was nabbed around 9:30 p.m. in Barangay Sto. Domingo.

Domingo said two sachets of shabu and other drug tools were recovered from the suspect’s residence.

In Canaman town, Paul Martin Rapada, 49, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. in Barangay Pang-pang.

Shabu worth P34,946 was recovered from Rapada, a street-level drug peddler.

Domingo said Ryan Lavapie, 30, was also held around 4 p.m. at Barangay Delafe in Buhi town.

A sachet of shabu was confiscated from Lavapie, a newly identified drug personality.

At Barangay Sta. Rosa Del Norte in Pasacao town, Allan Dela Torre, 23, a street-level drug peddler, was arrested at 2:10 p.m.

Five sachets of shabu were recovered from Dela Torre.

In Minalabac town, Rodely Cavite, 40, was also collared in Barangay Hobo at 1:10 p.m.

Domingo said authorities confiscated .65 grams of shabu worth P3,500 and a gram of marijuana worth P600.

In Sta. Elena town, in Camarines Norte, John Mcllane Panotes, 27, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion.

Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, reported that authorities confiscated .75 grams worth P5,100 and P500 buy-bust money.

In Vinzons town, Roland Quiñones, 44, a newly identified drug personality, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. in Barangay Calangcawan Sur.

Authorities recovered 0.68 grams of shabu worth P4,624 from the said suspect.

In San Vicente town, Elizalde Santos, 32, was arrested in Barangay Kanluran at 1:40 a.m.

Calubaquib said .4 grams of shabu worth P2,720 was recovered from Santos, also tagged as a newly identified drug suspect.

In Basud town, Ronaldo De Guia, 32, was also arrested around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Matnog.

Calubaquib said at least three grams of shabu worth P20,400 were recovered from the street-level drug peddler.

In Sorsogon City, Kevin Arevalo, 22, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. in Barangay Talisay.

Calubaquib said police recovered 10 grams of shabu from Arevalo.

The suspects were facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
