10 Bicol drug suspects busted, over P588,000 shabu seized
LEGAZPI CITY – Police seized more than P588,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from 10 drug suspects in separate operations in the Bicol region on Friday.
In Masbate City, Danilo Olimba, 43, a high-value drug suspect, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Tugbo at around 11:41 p.m.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report that Tugbo was included in the illegal drugs watch list in the region.
Authorities confiscated 60 grams of shabu worth an estimated P408,000 from Tugbo.
In Camarines Sur, Rommel Medroso, 42, was arrested in Barangay Sta. Salud in Calabanga town at around 11:45 p.m.
Police seized 6.8 grams of shabu worth some P46,000 from Medroso, who was also tagged as a high-value drug suspect.
In Naga City, Clifford Bolaños, 21, was arrested in Barangay San Felipe at around 10:55 p.m. Six sachets or two grams of shabu worth some P13,600 were confiscated from Bolaños, police reported.
In Iriga City, Ruffa Dimaiwat, 34, was arrested in a search operation in Barangay San Agustin at around 9:30 a.m.
About 10 grams of shabu worth P 68,000 were recovered from Dimaiwat’s house.
In Capalonga, Camarines Norte, a newly-identified drug suspect, Sebastian Mailom, 21, was arrested in Barangay Catioan at around 11:10 p.m. Calubaquib said seven sachets of shabu worth P4,080 were recovered from the suspect.
In Labo town, Raul Ramos, 56, was arrested in Barangay Tulay na Lupa at around 11:45 p.m. A total of 12 sachets or four grams of shabu worth P27,200 were recovered.
In Albay, Roden Porlaje, 41, a newly-identified drug personality, was arrested in Barangay Tuburan at around 9:05 p.m. Anti-narcotics operatives recovered four sachets of shabu worth P6,800 from Porlaje.
In Rapu-Rapu town, Jenny Bo, 32, was arrested in Barangay Manila at around 3:11 p.m. Four sachets of shabu worth P6,120 were confiscated from the suspect.
In Daraga town, Anthony Domingo, 23, was arrested in Barangay Cullat at around 11:40 a.m. Confiscated during the operation were a loaded .38 caliber revolver and two sachets of shabu worth around P5,000.
In Sorsogon City, Jomar Cincua, 20, was arrested in Barangay Talisay in West District at around 11:40 p.m. A sachet of shabu worth some P3,400 was confiscated from the suspect, who was also included in the illegal drugs watch list in the said province.
