4 nabbed, P139,000 ‘weed,’ ‘meth’ seized in Cavite, Rizal

LUCENA CITY — Four persons were arrested on Friday, Nov. 11, and some P139,000 worth of marijuana and “shabu” (crystal meth) were confiscated during buy-bust operations in Cavite and Rizal provinces.
The Region 4A police reported that members of the drug enforcement unit in Imus City, Cavite, collared John Ray Sevilla after he sold a pack of marijuana, or “weed,” to an undercover cop in a transaction around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Palico 4.
Seized from Sevilla were three sachets of marijuana weighing 460 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P69,000.
In Antipolo City, Rizal, police anti-narcotics agents busted Janeth Roldan at 12:45 a.m. She yielded three sachets of meth with a DDB value of P35,000.
Earlier, around midnight, local cops also nabbed Marlon Vigilante and Rosemarie Salomon in another part of the city after they sold shabu to a poseur buyer.
Authorities found the duo with four sachets of meth, also worth P35,000.
The arrested suspects were detained as they faced charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
