MANILA, Philippines — Reactivating the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) motorist assistance program, teams will be stationed with navy blue-colored tents along strategic locations nationwide starting at 7 a.m. on Oct. 28 until noon on Nov. 2.

Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonoan said the teams were deployed to help travelers during the traditional commemoration of All Souls’ Day, called “Undas,” when Filipinos remember their departed loved ones.

To prevent traffic slowdown along major roads and routes leading to cemeteries, implementing offices with ongoing projects are ordered to ensure proper safety signages and traffic advisories are posted by project contractors.
