LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died Sunday, Oct. 23, in a road accident in this city.
The Quezon police reported that Christian Digluis, 37, who was traveling around 11 p.m. “at a high speed,” hit a stalled motorcycle that had engine trouble along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Isabang.
Digluis, who was wearing a “sub-standard helmet,” suffered serious injuries. The driver and back-rider of the stalled motorcycle were likewise injured.
Rescuers brought the three to the Quezon Medical Center, but Digluis died along the way.
The police said the concerned parties were open to an amicable settlement.
