NTC, KBP team up in campaign against text scams
MANILA, Philippines — The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has teamed up with the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) to combat the proliferation of text scams.
In a statement Friday, NTC said its partnership with KBP is part of its ongoing “Kontra Text Scam” information drive. KBP will help bring the campaign to the radio.

“The NTC acknowledged the KBP’s desire to help fight the proliferation of text scams by entering a partnership with the Commission on the airing of the radio material,” NTC said.

“The NTC and the KBP’s effort is based on President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s call for unity among different sectors of the country to work together for the welfare of the Filipino people,” NTC said.
