P204,000 meth seized from 4 suspects in Cavite, Rizal

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested three drug suspects on Thursday, Oct. 20, and seized P204,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations in Cavite and Rizal provinces.
Anti-narcotics agents in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, nabbed Anthony Iglesia and John Mauro Desaville at 11:50 p.m. after selling a pack of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Burol Main.
Authorities seized three sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams valued at about P102,000.
The police said Iglesia was on the drug watch list as a high-value individual in the local drug scene and an alleged member of a group of shabu peddlers.
In Cainta town, Rizal, a senior high school student was collared for alleged drug pushing.
Colonel Dominic Baccay, Rizal police chief, reported that members of the police drug enforcement unit nabbed the student at 7:35 a.m. after he sold shabu to an undercover cop in a transaction at Don Celso Tuason Avenue in Barangay San Juan.
The Rizal Provincial Police Office identified the suspect as a certain Kraven Blu Lompero y Postrero, 18, or alias ‘Blu,’ a senior high school student who lives in Cainta Rizal.
Police said the buy-bust was conducted after they received a tip that a certain alias “Blu” was involved in delivering and selling illegal drugs in the area.
Seized from Postrero were 12 sachets containing alleged shabu worth P102,000, a motorcycle, and the buy-bust money.
Postrero is being held at the Cainta Custodial Facility.
Meanwhile, policemen in Tanauan City, Batangas arrested at 3:13 p.m. Michael Buri in Barangay Cale.
The police found the suspect with shabu worth P1,020 and an undocumented caliber .45 pistol loaded with seven bullets.
All suspects were in police custody and facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Buri will face another case for illegal possession of a firearm. INQ
