OLONGAPO CITY — More than P3 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in Central Luzon in the past week.
In a report on Tuesday, Oct. 4, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the confiscations were made from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1.
Among the biggest hauls were the P1 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) seized in this city on Sept. 27 and more than P500,000 worth of shabu recovered in Bulacan province on Sept. 29.
The PRO3 said they arrested 158 drug suspects in 158 operations.
At least 193 most wanted persons in the region were also arrested in separate operations last week. INQ
