P82,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Pampanga buy-bust

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local policemen raided a makeshift drug den in Dau village here on Sunday (September 25) afternoon that resulted in the arrest of six suspects and the alleged confiscation of P82,800 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth).

In a statement on Monday, the PDEA Central Luzon identified the suspects as Wilfredo Pantanggi, 42; Ana May Sampana, 38; Gabriel Fernandez, 32; Ranjay Pangilinan, 32; Josh Robles, 21; and Roda Capero, 44, all residents of this city.

Combined elements of PDEA Central Luzon, Pampanga police drug enforcement unit, and the local police initially conducted a buy-bust operation that eventually led to the raid and arrest of the suspects.

The suspects yielded 11 plastic sachets and an open transparent plastic sachet containing 12 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used in the sting operation.

PDEA Central Luzon said the suspects will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
