Resolution honoring heroism of 5 Bulacan rescuers adopted in Senate
MANILA, Philippines — A resolution honoring the heroism of five local rescuers who died saving victims of Typhoon Karding (international name: Noru) in Bulacan has been adopted at the Senate.
Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. sponsored the resolution during Tuesday’s Senate plenary session.
“We all share this deep sorrow and pain with the families and loved ones of our rescuers while exalting their sacrifice with a highest sense of great pride and profound gratitude.
(While this is a big tragedy, this is also a role model of heroism.)
