Alleged drug group member busted in General Trias City
LUCENA CITY — Police claimed they arrested a drug syndicate member in a buy-bust operation Thursday in General Trias City, Cavite.
Colonel Cristopher Olazo, Cavite police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents collared at 6:10 p.m. Jade Sawaldi, 28, in Barangay San Francisco.
The suspect yielded two sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth P48,300.
Police claimed that Sawaldi was a member of a drug group operating in the Calabarzon region.
Sawaldi is on the drug watch list as a “high-value individual” in the local drug scene.
He is now in police custody and faces charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
