P374,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested a 45-year-old welder and seized P374,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation on Sunday, Sept. 11, in Sta. Elena town in Camarines Norte province, police said Monday.
Major Alexander Alvarez, Sta. Elena police chief, identified the suspect as “Badong,” of Calauag town in Quezon. Badong was arrested at 11:17 p.m. in Barangay Tabugon.
Police recovered 55 grams of shabu from the suspect who faces charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
