Drug suspect falls in Lucena City sting

QC cops foil alleged abduction near school

 

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a drug suspect and sezie over P107,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation here early Sunday morning.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena City police chief, reported that Mark Darrel Reuto, 29, was collared after he allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) Ibabang Dupay at around 1:00 a.m.

The suspect was found carrying four plastic sachets of shabu weighing 5.26 grams.

Likewise confiscated from Reuto was  a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.

The local police tagged the suspect as a “newly identified drug personality.”

He was detained pending the filing of a formal  complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
