MANILA, Philippines — Three people were killed by an unidentified suspect in a shooting incident early Sunday morning at a transient house in Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The Taguig City police identified the victims as Maria Angelic Belina, 25, an overseas Filipino worker and a resident of Barangay Pachoca, Calapan City, Mindoro; Mark Ian Desquitado, 35, a food delivery rider and a resident of Block 5 Zone 1, Barangay Fort Bonifacio; and Tashane Joshua Branzuela, a 22-year-old student and also a resident of Zone 1.

Branzuela was brought to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival at 3:45 a.m.

According to the initial investigation by the police, the incident happened around 3:20 a.m. outside the transient house located in Zone 1.

A witness said they were inside the transient house when they heard multiple gunshots outside.

“Upon verification, they saw the bodies of the victims slumped on the cemented ground and one of the victims was seen inside the gate with gunshot wounds on her body resulting in her instantaneous death,” the police said.

‘Information’

Col. Kirby John Brion Kraft, director of the Southern Police District, ordered a deeper investigation to determine the motive and other circumstances behind the shooting as well as the immediate arrest of the assailant, identified as male, who fled and is at large.

“I am asking for the cooperation of the public, for anyone who may have information not to hesitate to approach the Taguig City Police so that we could resolve the incident and make those who committed the crime pay,” he told the media.
