3 killed, 2 minors hurt in Taguig shooting incident

MANILA, Philippines — Three people, including 2 Chinese nationals, were killed while two minors were hospitalized in a shooting incident in front of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) office in Taguig City on Tuesday afternoon.

A report from the Southern Police District (SPD) stated that the two Chinese nationals and a Filipino died at the hospital.

The two minors, who are aged five and 12 years old, were confined at the Taguig Pateros District Hospital.

Police said four unidentified gunmen shot the five victims in front of the DOST building along Gen. Santos Avenue at Barangay Upper Bicutan at 2:30 p.m.
