4 drug suspects nabbed in separate buy-bust operations in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte provinces on Thursday morning, August 18.
Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in Labo town in Camarines Norte, Rowell Data, 26, was arrested in Barangay (village) Dalas at around 2 a.m.
Seized from him were eight sachets or 2.2 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P15,000.
In Daet town, also in Camarines Norte, Michael Paderon, 38, was arrested with six grams of shabu worth P35,000 in Barangay 3 at around 5:45 a.m.
Calubaquib said Paderon was identified as a member of Guttierez Drug Group, operating in the province.
Article continues after this advertisementIn Barangay Matnog in Basud town, Rizalito Pedraja, 37, was also arrested in a separate operation at around 6:25 a.m.
Article continues after this advertisementFour sachets of shabu worth P4,000 were confiscated from Pedraja.
In Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur, Aldrin Frondozo, 27, was arrested in Barangay San Rafael at around 3:40 a.m.
Camarines Sur police said a small and a medium sachet of shabu were confiscated from Frondozo who was identified as a street-level peddler.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
