PNP reshuffles officials in key positions

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday announced that it has reorganized its officials holding key positions in the agency to promote career opportunities within the police force, and assign more seasoned officers to head its offices and units.

MANILA, Philippines –The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced on Tuesday that it had reorganized its officials in key positions to promote career advancement within the force and assign more seasoned officers to lead its units and offices.

This development came after Police Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. took the helm of the PNP on Wednesday, August 3.

“The reorganization of personnel occupying key positions aims to provide opportunities and career growth,” the PNP said in a statement.

Additionally, the move was intended to “strengthen and empower strategic offices and units with the placement of more seasoned and experienced senior officers at their helms to further hone the operational and administrative undertakings against criminality, enforcement of the law, and maintenance of peace and order.”

A list of new positions and the names of officials has not yet been released by the PNP.
