Portion of Tomas Claudio St. in Manila to close from Aug. 5 to Nov. 30
MANILA, Philippines — A portion of Tomas Claudio Street in Manila City will be closed for Skyway Stage 3 construction activities until November 30, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
In an MMDA advisory issued Wednesday, a portion of the said street will be closed to give way for construction activities starting August 5, 10 p.m., until November 30.
MMDA advised motorists to take the following suggested alternate routes.
For vehicles coming from Valenzuela Street, Sta. Mesa going to Quirino Avenue or Beata Street, Pandacan, motorists may take Ramon Magsaysay Avenue, turn left at Lacson Avenue, straight ahead to Quirino Avenue or turn left at Jesus Street to their destination.
For vehicles coming from Osmeña Highway going to Valenzuela Street in Sta. Mesa, motorists, may go straight ahead to Quirino Avenue to Mabini Bridge and the bridge down the ramp, turn right at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue, and right at Valenzuela St. to their destination.

For light vehicles coming from Beata Street, Pandacan to Quirino Avenue, motorists may take Tomas Claudio Street to Quirino Avenue to their destination. Long and heavy trucks or trailers may take Jesus Street to Quirino Avenue to their destination. —Andy Hoo, INQUIRER.net trainee
