Japan’s 2nd monkeypox case confirmed in Tokyo
TOKYO — A new case of monkeypox, which has been spreading alarmingly around the globe, has been confirmed in Tokyo, Gov. Yuriko Koike said Thursday.
It is believed to be the second monkeypox case in Japan, following another that was announced on Monday.

Koike spoke to reporters in Nara Prefecture, where a meeting of the National Governors’ Association is being held.
