MANILA, Philippines — Re-elected Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto reached another milestone in his political career when he officiated the wedding of his 400th couple on Thursday.

But it seemed that the local chief executive who is well-known for his humorous antics on social media just can’t let the occasion pass without blurting a witticism.

As he let his followers know about his latest achievement, he also sent a message to the 399 couples whose weddings he officiated before. But the timing was that funny, netizens were dispatching laughing emojis.

“I just officiated the wedding of my 400th couple,” the 32-year-old bachelor Pasig City mayor wrote on Twitter. “Sa unang 399 [couples], sana hindi pa kayo naghihiwalay.”
