LOOK: Metro mayors officiate mass weddings on Valentine’s Day
MANILA, Philippines — Metro Mayors on Friday opted to spread love as they officiated mass weddings of hundreds of couples in Metro Manila on Valentine’s Day.
In Pasig, Mayor Vico Sotto presided over the wedding of 50 couples at Tanghalang Pasigueño Pasig City Hall Complex along Caruncho Avenue.

“Kasalang Bayan @ Tanghalang Pasigueño. 02.14.20. ❤🤵💙👰💛. Congratulations and best wishes to the 50 newlywed couples!” Sotto said in a Facebook post on Friday.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno also officiated the ceremony for 300 couples at Pag-Ibig Fun Tent City in Manila Hotel.

In another Facebook post, a mass wedding was also held for 22 couples in Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong during Heart’s Day, led by Mayor Menchie Abalos.
The Mandaluyong Public Information Office said the 26th annual mass wedding was officiated by Fr. Rey Yatco at the Sacred Heart Parish Church.
