Vote for UniTeam is vote for unity, says Bongbong Marcos
TAGUM CITY, Philippines — A vote for the UniTeam is a vote for unity and love of the country, presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said as he capped off their campaign in the Mindanao region.
Marcos once again stressed his call for unity—a common theme in his speeches delivered during his three-month campaign—as he campaigned in the Duterte clan’s home turf of Davao.
(Your vote for the Marcos-Duterte tandem, as well as the UniTeam senators, is your and our countrymen’s voice that you are voting for our future.)

In his speech, Marcos also repeated his call for his supporters to “protect” their votes, seemingly alluding to the outcome of the 2016 vice presidential elections where he lost to Vice President Leni Robredo, who now tails him for the presidential race.
(Protect your votes on Monday, no one should sleep. We will ask our friends for coffee so no one will sleep because as we know, when we sleep, a lot of undesirable things happen.)
Meanwhile, Duterte-Carpio, who serves as the mayor of Davao City, appealed to her fellow Davaoenos to support her running mate.
The miting de avance in Tagum City is the second of the three miting de avances that the Marcos-Duterte will hold to cap off their campaign for the 2022 national elections.
Their last miting de avance, which will happen on May 7, will be held in Parañaque City.
