Mayor Richard Gomez says Ormoc City welcomes campaign sorties of all bets

TACLOBAN CITY – While he is openly supporting the presidential bid of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez will also welcome other candidates who want to hold a campaign sortie in the city.
“The city is open for all candidates. At the end, it’s the people who will have the final say on who they want to elect,” the city mayor said.
The city recently hosted presidential candidates and Senators Panfilo Lacson and Manny Pacquiao.
Lacson and his running mate, Vicente Sotto III paid a courtesy visit to Gomez while Pacquiao went straight to his motorcade.
Gomez said even Vice President Leni Robredo, the closest rival of Marcos, came to Ormoc.
