Comelec eyes release of decision on Marcos DQ cases on appeal next week
MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc’s decision on the appeals regarding the dismissed disqualification cases against presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. may be out early next week.
Comelec chairman Saidamen Pangarungan announced this Thursday, saying five commissioners have already signed the en banc’s resolution on the appeals.
“Very soon we will be announcing the decision on the three consolidated cases to disqualify BBM (Bongbong Marcos). Siguro early next week mai-announce na natin yung decision,” Pangarungan said in a press briefing.

The fourth appeal is on the junked disqualification case filed by group Pudno Nga Ilocano, also known as Salandanan et al vs. Marcos case.
