2 dead in Las Piñas City fire
MANILA, Philippines — A 12-year-old child and 44-year-old woman died in a residential fire in Aristocrat Village, Talon Tres, Las Piñas City early Thursday morning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the fatalities as Angelita Supilanas, 44, and Dargie Supilanas, 12 years old.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Rodel Agduyeng, who is in charge of the investigation of the fire, said that the bodies of the victims were found near the comfort room of their residence house along Leo Street.
Three others were injured.
A BFP report, stated that the first alarm was raised at 2:44 a.m. The fire was put under control at 3:37 a.m. and was extinguished at 4:02 a.m.

The cause of the blaze is still being investigated.
