Fire hits 10 houses in Las Piñas City

MANILA, Philippines — Fire razed 10 houses in Las Piñas City on Friday, the city fire department said.

Fire Officer II Joycebert Gonzales said the blaze left 11 families homeless.

The blaze on Tuazon Street in Barangay Pamplona Uno reached first alarm at around 4:28 p.m.

Authorities said the fire spread quickly that in two minutes it reached third alarm.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) declared the fire under control at around 5 p.m. It was put out in less than ten minutes.

The blaze left around P300,000 worth of damage.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of fire. /kga /ee
