Cops seize P408K worth of ‘shabu’ in Pampanga bust

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers who allegedly yielded P408,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Mawaque Maragul village here on Tuesday, April 19.

The Central Luzon police identified the suspects as Alfredo Lising, 43, and MIllan Siapo, 37.

It said joint operatives from the regional, provincial and city police conducted the anti-illegal drugs operation.

An undercover police officer managed to buy a small sachet of shabu for P1,000 using marked peso bills.

Policemen allegedly confiscated from the suspects two large and three small plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 60 grams from the suspects, who are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The Honda TMX motorcycle used by the suspects was also impounded.
