LUCENA CITY––Anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed four drug suspects early Monday (April 11) during a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City in Cavite province, police said.
The Calabarzon police identified the arrested suspects as Lorina Salas, Dante Buban, Jayson Gregorio, and Roberto Postrado.
The four were busted after they allegedly sold a plastic sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Bayanan at 2 a.m.
Authorities seized eight sachets of meth ready for distribution to drug users with a street value of P20,400 and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects, who will face a formal complaint in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now in the custody of the city police.
