Man nabbed in Calapan City drug buy-bust
CITY OF CALAPAN — Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in this city on Saturday night (April 9), according to a report from Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) police on Sunday.
Allan Panalangin, a 46-year-old security guard, was arrested at 3 p.m. by personnel from the city and Oriental Mindoro police after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) for P500 to a police poseur buyer at Barangay (village) Batino.
Police tagged the suspect as a top priority high value individual.
Also seized from the suspect were four sachets of shabu weighing about 1.82 grams and valued at P12,376.
Suspect is now under police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
