Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Calapan City buy-bust
CITY OF CALAPAN – A suspected drug pusher was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in a buy-bust operation in Calapan City, according to a report from Oriental Mindoro police.
In coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, police arrested Mervin Acha, 39, at 2:04 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) for P1,000 to a poseur buyer in Barangay (village) San Vicente Central.
Also seized from the suspect were 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 2.84 grams and valued at P19,312.
The suspect, a resident of Barangay Ibaba West, is under police custody and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
