Positive change

For Mayo, “business is not purely business.”

“We have to do whatever is within our power to influence positive change in the communities we work with and the people we interact with. Each of us has a responsibility to make this place a better world today and for generations to come,” she said.

With Mayo at its helm, SmarTrade has trained more than 20,000 Filipinos in financial literacy for the past five years. It provides Filipinos free learning sessions and personalized coaching on how to be financially adept and make better investments for themselves and their families.

WGC is a network of business leaders and entrepreneurs working in global business, promoting the belief that every human being has the right to clean water, food, health care, education, and income training beyond race, creed, religion and circumstance.

Aspire Magazine Global is aimed at all sizes, ages, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations.
