Motorcycle rider in critical condition after ramming center island in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider was in critical condition after crashing on a center island in Manila early Friday morning, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported.
Police said rider John Patrick Roque, 21, and his passenger Joshua Millan, 19, were injured after their motorcycle rammed the center island at Legarda Street in Sampaloc at around 2:30 a.m.
Police said Roque was in critical condition while Millan is now in stable condition at a hospital.
