Shabu worth P408K seized in Naga City
LEGAZPI CITY––Anti-narcotics operatives arrested Wednesday a big-time drug suspect and seized P408,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Naga City in Camarines Sur.
Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said in a report that Jeffrey San Buenaventura, 39, was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Cruz.
Authorities recovered 60 grams of shabu in two sachets from the suspect.
Mark Anthony Viray, provincial officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Camarines Sur, said Buenaventura was a top priority on the Bicol watchlist.
Buenaventura, who got his drug supply from Muntinlupa, was operating in the region and the nearby provinces, Viray said.
The suspect was considered the head and trainer of the notorious snatchers in Naga City, he said.
