Batangas governor backs Mark Villar’s Senate candidacy

MANILA, Philippines — Batangas Gov. Hermilando “Dodo” Mandanas has endorsed senatorial aspirant and former Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar for the upcoming national elections.

Villar thanked Mandanas for his support.

“Maraming salamat po sa suporta ng Lipeños sa aking kandidatura sa Senado. Nais ko din pong pasalamatan si Gov. Dodo Mandanas sa taos pusong pag endorso sa akin, nakakataba po ng puso. Kami po, kasama ang BBM-Sara Uniteam ay may adhikain na pag kakaisa”, Villar said.

Mandanas raised the hands of Villar, former secretary of National Defense Secretary Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro, and reelectionist Vice Governor Jose Antonio “Mark” Leviste II.

“I am very grateful to Gov. Dodo Mandanas for all his support. Maraming salamat din po sa mga naniniwala sa atin. Ipagpapatuloy ko po ang magandang nasimulan ng ‘Build Build Build’ program at upang makapag bigay ng trabaho sa ating mga kababayan”, Villar ended.

Mandanas made the endorsement at the Lipa City Youth and Cultural Center in Batangas on Tuesday.
