Calabarzon’s most wanted who faces raps for raping daughter falls in Quezon

LUCENA CITY — A 44-year-old man wanted for repeatedly raping his own daughter was caught in Polillo island town in Quezon province on Monday, police said Tuesday.
Quezon police identified the arrested fugitive as Ricky de Guzman, 44, tagged as first in the list of wanted criminals in the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.
Reports said De Guzman was caught by police operatives armed with a warrant of arrest in his safehouse at the village of Libjo around 12:10 p.m.
He is facing 28 counts of rape and two counts of acts of lasciviousness at the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 in Infanta, Quezon since Feb. 23, 2022 with no bail recommended.
He was accused of repeated sexual abuse against his 13-year-old daughter sometime in 2020.
