MANILA, Philippines — The Pinatatag na Ugnayan para sa mga Oportunidad sa Pabahay ng Masa (Pinuno) party-list launched their congressional campaign in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Tuesday.

Pinuno Party-list first nominee Howard Guintu and third nominee Alexa Pastrana were joined by Senator Lito Lapid during their campaign launch.

Lapid, when he returned to the Senate in 2019, was referred to as Pinuno, the moniker of a rebel leader that he portrayed in ABS-CBN’s action-drama series Ang Probinsyano.

The senator explained that they chose to launch the campaign in San Jose Del Monte in remembrance of the filming days of Ang Probinsyano.

Pinuno Party-list is a civic, non-profit, and non-governmental organization established in 2019. They are pushing for affordable housing and livelihood programs.

Campaign period for the May 9 polls kicked off Tuesday, February 8, for national candidates while March 25 for local positions.
