Robredo-Pangilinan tandem to hold proclamation rally in Bicol on Feb. 8, 9

MANILA, Philippines — The tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis Pangilinan, who are gunning for the presidency and vice presidency, will hold a proclamation rally in Bicol on February 8 and 9.

“Pinaghahandaan nga po ‘yung malaking proclamation rally na gagawin sa Camarines Sur sa February 8 at sa February 9 sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Bicol Region,” former congressman Lorenzo “Erin” Tañada III, the team’s campaign manager, said on Sunday during the BISErbisyong LENI program.

(We are preparing for the big proclamation rally which will be held in Camarines Sur on February 8 and February 9 in different parts of Bicol Region.)

“So, lahat ng 12 [senatorial aspirants na] pinangalanan ng ating vice president ay imbitadong dumalo dito sa Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 activity sa Naga at sa Albay,” he added.

(So, the 12 senatorial aspirants that the vice president earlier named are invited to attend the February 8 and 9 activity in Naga and Albay.)

The following senatorial hopefuls were earlier pronounced by Robredo and are included in opposition coalition 1Sambayan’s senatorial slate:

Meanwhile, Makabayan chairperson Neri Colmenares was the eighth senatorial aspirant in 1Sambayan’s slate whose standard-bearer is Robredo.
