Robredo, daughters reunite after quarantine, negative test for COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo and her daughters were reunited after several days of being in isolation, after one of her daughters and her close-in security tested positive for COVID-19.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Robredo said that she has already completed her quarantine and got a negative RT-PCR test. Her daughter Tricia, who is a doctor, just recently recovered from COVID-19 and dengue.
“Today, we are all finally reunited after I completed my quarantine and got a negative RT PCR. Tricia survived a bout with Covid (stayed in an Isolation facility for several days) and dengue (which she had while on quarantine after isolation). Double whammy for her but she’s okay now. Thanks God,” Robredo said in her personal Facebook page.

Her two other daughters, Aika and Jillian, meanwhile got to finish their quarantine earlier as both did not get infected despite traveling with Tricia.
“Aika and Jillian ended their 14 day quarantine earlier than us. It was a miracle they didn’t test positive because they travelled with Tricia,” Robredo said.

Robredo revealed that she also got some COVID-19 symptoms, but did not test positive for the virus.
“I also needed to quarantine. While on quarantine, I got tonsilitis, had really high fever and bad chills and couldn’t eat for 3 straight days. Doc decided to put me on IV so I was attached to it all through the New Year,” she explained.
“Sorry for all the missed messages, greetings, etc. I’m back to my old self now and reunited with my girls. I will try my best to catch up starting today,” she said.
Robredo on Monday announced that her campaign headquarters along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City will temporarily cease operations to ensure the safety of volunteers and her staffers. However, she assured that relief operations for areas affected by Typhoon Odette last December will continue.
