MANILA, Philippines — Actor and senatorial aspirant Robin Padilla shared that he improperly displays his personal Philippine flag to serve as an inspiration to remind himself that “he is in a war.”

In a Facebook post on Monday, Padilla posted a photo of him with the Philippine flag hanging with the red field on the left and the blue field on the right which indicates war.

He said that this is his daily inspiration to remind himself that he is in a war against poverty, corruption, and colonization.

(This is my personal motivation. After praying fajr, I will sing the national anthem with the flag installed that way. That is my daily inspiration to not forget that I am in a war against poverty, corruption, and colonization.)
