VINTAGE BOMBS FOUND LOREGA

AT least five  vintage bombs were found in barangya Hipodromo, Cebu City.

Police said the World War II bombs were found by workers digging a hole for the renovation of the house owned by Lading Naces in sitio Riverside.

Three bombs were found on Friday. Two more bombs were discovered yesterday morning.

FIRE RAZES HOUSE, CHAPEL

A HOUSE and a chapel were razed by  fire in barangay Bonbon, Aloguinsan town.

Police said the fire started at the house of Elias Casquiho,  who was out when the fire broke out yesterday dawn.

The fire spread quickly to  the Pente Costal Assembly Church, said Junjie Mendaros, the town’s fire marshall.  Damage was pegged at P45,000.

Police are still investigating the cause of fire. No one was reported injured./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
