Angeles City to vaccinate eligible minors vs COVID-19 per village
ANGELES CITY – The city government here will start vaccinating 12 to 17-year-old residents against COVID-19 on November 5.
In a statement, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the minors would be vaccinated via the city’s “Sundo Bakuna” program, wherein villagers are fetched to and from the vaccination centers.
He said the inoculation would be on a per village schedule basis.
Irish Calaguas, Lazatin’s chief adviser, said the schedules and guidelines would be posted on the city information office’s Facebook page starting next week.
She said a parent or legal guardian must accompany minors. Those with medical conditions must also have clearance from their doctors.
