Cagayan province logs 300 new COVID-19 cases
TUGUEGARAO CITY—At least 300 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cagayan province on Monday (Sept. 6), according to the provincial health office (PHO).
The latest infections were traced to this city and the towns of Lal-lo, Baggao, Iguig and Gonzaga.
Based on the same data, 20 new COVID-19 deaths were also recorded in the province.
Six of the fatalities were residents of Baggao, which has an extended community quarantine status until Sept. 13.
According to the PHO, the number of home-quarantined COVID patients in this city has already reached 341.
The province’s active COVID-19 cases have climbed to 4,529 as of Monday. INQ
