Active COVID-19 cases in Angeles City breach 700 mark

ANGELES CITY—The active COVID-19 cases in this city have jumped to 713 on Thursday, Aug. 12, from 668 the day before, the latest government bulletin showed.

This city recorded 91 new cases and 46 recoveries on Thursday. No new deaths were registered.

Fourteen of the new sick are residents of Barangay Pandan, while eight are from Cutcut.

The other cases are in Balibago, Malabanias, Pulung Maragul, Salapungan, Margot, and Santa Teresita.

Barangay Santo Domingo has the most active cases at 81, followed by Balibago with 69 and Cutcut with 46.

The city government has not enforced granular lockdowns in any part of the villages with many active cases.
