Fire hits residential area in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Fire razed five homes, displacing roughly 20 families in Pasay City Thursday night, an officer of the Pasay City Fire Department said on Friday.

Fire Officer 3 Rodolfo Bulatao said that the fire started from a still undetermined source along Rivero Street at 6:50 p.m.

The blaze reached third alarm before it was extinguished at 8:51 p.m.

He said that there were no reports of injuries and an investigation was underway to determine its cause.
