2 drug suspects slain in ‘shootout’ with Bulacan cops

MARILAO, Bulacan –– Two suspected drug traders were killed in a buy-bust operation here after reportedly engaging the police in a shootout on Wednesday.

Slain were Edison Lim Dizon from Marilao town and Gaudioso Juarez Jr. from Pandi town, said Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director.

Dizon was on the watch list of drug personalities in Marilao and Pandi.

Cajipe said the two suspects were the first to fire shots after sensing they were selling “shabu” (crystal meth) to undercover agents during the sting in Barangay Tabing-ilog at 10:20 p.m.
