FDA chief gets Sinovac Covid-19 shot

MANILA, Philippines — The chief of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) received his Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.

FDA Director-General Eric Domingo was inoculated with the vaccine developed by China-based Sinovac at the Philippine General Hospital as the government kicked off its vaccination program.

The Sinovac vaccine was part of the donation by the Chinese government to the Philippines which arrived Sunday afternoon.
