2 drug suspects slain in Bulacan drug bust
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–Two drug suspects were killed in separate buy-bust operations in Bulacan province over the weekend.
Police Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said suspect Eric Sandoval alias “Kabo” was killed when he resisted arrest and fired at responding policemen in Barangay Sto. Cristo, Baliwag town around 4 a.m on Saturday.
Sandoval had prevoiously been arrested for drugs and car theft charges.
Another drug suspect, who was identified as Jeremie Garcia, was killed in Barangay Sapang Palay in the City of San Jose del Monte around 1 a.m. on Sunday after he engaged policemen in a shootout.
The unidentified companions of the suspects managed to escape, police said.
Recovered from the slain suspects were two short firearms, a motorcycle, sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth), ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.
