611 Pinoys overseas die of COVID-19

In the past week, 41 Filipinos abroad died of COVID-19, bringing the total overseas fatalities to 611 since the pandemic started early this year. The Department of Foreign Affairs said as of Monday, 349 Filipinos in the Middle East/Africa region have died of COVID-19 while 2,240 others were still battling the disease. It has also claimed the lives of 169 Filipinos in the Americas, 95 in Europe and five in Asia-Pacific. —Dona Z. Pazzibugan
