NBI to probe illegal medical facility in Clark

/ 04:33 AM May 27, 2020

MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to do a follow-up investigation on the unauthorized medical facility for Chinese COVID-19 patients found last week at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.

He also ordered the Bureau of Immigration to be on the lookout for the two Chinese nationals, identified as facility supervisor Hu Ling and alleged pharmacist Lee Seung Hyun, who were arrested during the raid on May 19 at Fontana Villa No. 628 of the casino-resort complex.

A raiding team said the villa had been turned into a facility to exclusively treat Chinese workers infected with COVID-19.
